NASA's Mars-bound mega rocket ahead of schedule, on budget
Tue Apr 16, 2013
Would have been nice if we'd have kept all the change parts and technologies from the original Saturn V. We had this capability - or something very close to it - in the distant past. Almost seems like a version of "Back to the Future" ...
Ohio school shooter, wearing 'KILLER' T-shirt, sentenced to life in prison
Tue Mar 19, 2013
People have died. Parents have lost their children. Siblings have lost a brother. This part of the tragedy, and too many more like it, can not be taken back.
US to provide aerial refueling for French Mali effort
Sun Jan 27, 2013
I know it's totally beside the point but my first reaction when reading the headline was "screw the French" ... didn't they prohibit us from flying in their airspace a few years ago. They're FWC - Friends When Convenient
Electors cast presidential votes

As a Pennsylvanian I would ask that Senator Pileggi not introduce proportionality to PA's election process. I believe Mr. Pileggi's motives are driven by trying to do through the state legislature what the GOP could not do at the ballot box.
Haley appoints Scott to fill S.C. Senate seat
Mon Dec 17, 2012
And the significance of the "only state in the union with two senators who are unmarried" reference is what??? Next headline we see will be what "Sun rises in east ... film at 11?". Raise your game, guys. I read you for insight, not as a substitute for Oprah.
Manuel Pardo, Florida ex-cop known as 'Death Row Romeo,' executed for 1986 slayings of 9
Tue Dec 11, 2012
24 years? Seriously? Either we have the death penalty or we don't. To me, waiting in limbo for 24 years is more "cruel and unusual punishment" than the execution itself.
Apple CEO Tim Cook announces plans to manufacture Mac computers in USA
Thu Dec 6, 2012
I'd be willing to pay more for products made in America
What GOP senators could do to block Rice
Tue Nov 27, 2012
I'm sorry. I admit I'm stupid ...
Jack Welch fires back over jobs report flap
Wed Oct 10, 2012
At the end of each and every day there is only ONE important statistic about jobs: do I have one and is it commensurate with the skills and abilities in which I invested?
Supersonic skydive called off due to gusty winds
Mon Oct 8, 2012
Seriously - who gives a darn? You have to have perfect conditions, perfect equipment, perfect attitude to set a "record". Seems artificial and contrived to me. Hardly something I'll be sitting on the edge of my seat waiting on the outcome.
